Anri hails from a land devoured by Aldrich, who then went on to consume the gods themselves. They and Horace, presumably the only survivors, arrived in Lothric to slay Aldrich and avenge their fallen kin.
Perhaps prompted through a wish to emulate the skill and bravery of Astoran knights, Anri claims to be a member of their ranks; however, Astora is a land they know by name only. At this point, it seems they truly believe in the facade they have created, and that the line between memory and longing has blurred beyond repair.
Like any Unkindled, Anri wishes to see the lords returned to their thrones so an age of dark may be avoided. Unbeknownst to them, they may play a role in creating the very darkness they fear.
Verses
Main (DS3 canon)
Anri, with the help of Horace, is investigating the whereabouts of Aldrich so they can slay him and avenge their homeland.
Champion of Ash
Anri does not stop at Aldrich's death, even after the loss of their closest companion. They pursue the final Lords of Cinder alone and are determined to link the First Flame.
Usurpation of Fire
While the “wedding” between Anri and the Lord of Hollows did not kill them, it has rendered them a shell of their former self, and blindly loyal to the cause they were once vehemently against. They no longer remember their former goals or even their former life.
Blade of the Darkmoon
Anri's sympathy towards the fallen gods has led them to take up a new role.

Hi, welcome! This is an indie, semi-selective, and nonprivate RP/ask blog for Anri of Astora from Dark Souls III.
All basic RP rules apply here. No godmodding, metagaming, and so on. I'm a very chill RP partner otherwise.
My name's Lyss (she/they), and you can find me on my main or on twitter. I'm over 21 and from the midwest. I've been RPing on tumblr on and off since 2012 or so, and RPing elsewhere for even longer.
Threads
I'm not fussed about formatting as long as it's legible, but I use small text for the sake of consistency, and icons for short replies.
Muse is very fickle, so I can be slow at times. Please be patient with me!
I'm open to all thread lengths, but keep in mind that shorter threads will likely be replied to faster. I love plotting through DMs and pre-established relationships, but it isn't a necessity.
Please keep in mind that the Souls series is very dark and bleak, so there will likely be disturbing content present. Anything extreme will be tagged.
Shipping
This blog is multiship, and each ship is treated as its own verse. I'm open to shipping with canon characters and OCs alike, but that being said, I ship exclusively based on chemistry and won't fling Anri into a relationship on a whim. If this is something you're interested in, please reach out!
While the mun and muse are both of age, I don't write smut, and NSFW content is highly unlikely to pop up here. Suggestive asks/threads are fine, but anything explicit must be either excluded entirely or through a "fade to black" (assuming it even comes up).
Character
Anri is a good bean, but I suppose it needs to be said anyway. Muse =/= Mun.
I don't consider this to be a multi-muse blog, but depending on the thread, Horace may be present in the background. However, everything will be written from Anri's POV.
Considering the vague nature of Dark Souls' story, a lot of my portrayal of Anri is based on my own personal interpretation of them, including lots of headcanons; to that end, please don't copy my ideas!
Anri's gender is player-dependent IG, but that doesn't need to be the case here! I refer to them with neutral pronouns in passing, but you can refer to them with any pronouns you like. In threads, I'll roll with whichever you choose.
